This is the bird in crane family,Gruidae.It is found in nearly all Africa especially in Eastern and Southern Africa and it is the national bird of Uganda. It is also known as the African Crowned Crane,Golden Crested Crane,Golden Crowned Crane, African Crane,South African Crane, Eastern Crowned Crane, Eastern Crowned Crane.
