Mexican sunflower.

Is a drought-tolerant annual or perennial flowering plant native to Mexico and Central America. It’s known for its bright orange or yellow daisy-like flowers,it grows up to 6 feet or more and is often used as an ornamental in gardens ,attracting pollinators like bees and butterflies.

The plant thrives in full sun and well drained soils and it’s particularly appreciated for its resilience in hot dry conditions.

Its seeds are sometimes used as food source for birds, despite its name , it’s not related to sunflower.
